Common questions about your first visit
What happens at my first visit to Milagro Dental?
Your first visit is doctor-led and unhurried. We start by reviewing your health history and goals, then complete a comprehensive exam that includes digital x-rays, CBCT 3D imaging when needed, an iTero digital scan, intraoral photos, and a full oral health assessment. Dr. Kasha or Dr. Zach will walk you through every finding, explain your options clearly, and work with you to create a personalized treatment plan before you leave.
How long does a new patient appointment usually take?
Plan for about 90 minutes to two hours for your first visit. We intentionally leave extra time so you never feel rushed. This gives us the space to be thorough, answer your questions, and make sure you feel confident about next steps.
Do I need to bring anything to my first appointment?
Bring a photo ID, your dental insurance card if you have one, and a list of any current medications. If you have recent dental x-rays from a previous dentist, those can be helpful but aren’t required. Completing your new patient forms ahead of time online helps things run even more smoothly.
What does the $319 New Patient Special include?
Your $319 new patient visit (normally $435) includes a comprehensive doctor-led exam, digital x-rays, and a routine cleaning. It’s designed to give you a full picture of your oral health in one visit, with no add-ons or surprises.
Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes. We are in-network with Delta Dental, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield (excluding Medicare plans), Careington, United Healthcare, DHA, Benefit Source, and Cigna. We’ll review your benefits with you before treatment so you always know what to expect.
What if I don't have dental insurance?
Our membership plan is a great alternative. It includes free exams, cleanings, and x-rays, plus 15% off all treatments. Plans start at $349/year for youth, $480/year for adults, and $699/year for perio patients. We also offer financing through CareCredit and Wisetack.
I'm nervous about going to the dentist. Will that be a problem?
Not at all, you’re in good company. Many of our patients have had anxious or difficult experiences at other offices before finding us. We move at your pace, explain everything before we do it, and never make you feel judged. If you have significant dental anxiety, ask us about sedation dentistry. We offer options that can make your visit feel calm and comfortable from start to finish.
Can I see the same doctor at every visit?
We do our best to provide consistent care with the same provider. Your first exam will be with one of our doctors (Dr. Kasha Ujda or Dr. Zach Riesenberger), and we’ll note your preferences for future scheduling.
How do I complete my new patient forms before my visit?
You can fill out your forms online before arriving. On this page, click “Fill out your form” and select “New Patient” to access the digital paperwork. Completing it ahead of time gives our team more time to focus on you when you arrive.
Can my whole family come to Milagro Dental, or is it just for adults?
We welcome patients of all ages. Whether you’re bringing your children for their first dental experience or looking for comprehensive care for your whole family in one place, we’re happy to help. Ask our front desk team about scheduling multiple family members on the same day.
